Building Green with Pervious Concrete

Pervious concrete is a cement-based product with a 15-25% void structure, which allows 3 to 8 gallons of water to pass through each square foot per minute.  It is suitable for a wide range of applications including parking lots, sidewalks, golf cart paths, slope protection and French drains.

Pervious concrete is recognized by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a best management practice (BMP) for first flush pollution control and storm water management.
